Welcome to the Friends of Enderby Danemill School
The Friends of Enderby Danemill School are a group of parents and teachers who volunteer our time to raise money for the school and provide entertainment for the children. We are a registered charity and raise about £8000 every year which all goes to the school. They spend the funds on items that enrich the education and enjoyment of your child’s time at Danemill. In the past we have provided, amongst other things, the Interactive Whiteboards in the classrooms, the outdoor shelter for EYFS, much of the playground furniture, the Read, Write Inc. phonics scheme materials, library books and PA systems for the halls.
When your child starts at Danemill we provide them with a water bottle, and when they are ready to leave in year 6 we provide the refreshments for their leaving party. As well as raising money, we hold two fayres every year, which are great events not just for the children but the whole community. We hold discos on a regular basis, which the children really enjoy, we’ve had quiz nights, car boot sales, film nights and last year we had our first Apprentice Challenge, which proved to be a runaway success, inspiring many young entrepreneur’s!
Our current committee is made up of the following people:

Who are the FEDS?
If you have a child at the school you’re already a member, so come along to our next meeting and see what we get up to! We meet roughly every 4-6 weeks to plan events and we’d love to see you there. You don’t need to come to all the meetings, if you can just spare an hour to help at an event, it would be greatly appreciated.
